Directions:

Fr Leavenworth, on the W side of town on Hwy 2, turn L onto Icicle Creek Rd. At 2nd 90 degree turn, climbing areas begin with the Playpen up and right (from barn and fence). From the Playpen, mileages are Mountaineer's Dome 0.9 on R (north), Bolt Rock 1.3 on R, Snow Creek 1.5 on R, Deb's Crack 1.9 on R, Bruce's Boulder 2.8 on L, Domestic Dome 2.9 on R, Givler's Dome 3.2 on R, Warrior Wall 3.5 on R, Icicle Buttress 3.7 on R, 8-Mile CG 4.3 on L, 8-Mile Buttress 4.4 on R, Classic Crack 4.8 on L & down, Bridge Creek CG 5.7 on L, The Sword 6.0 on R, Egg Rock 6.2 on R, and 4th of July Rock 6.8 on R. Camp at 8 Mile or Bridge Creek CG's.

Notes:

Potpourri of bouldering, craglets, topropes, and exploring in forested river canyon. Stacked cliffs between benches offer climbers pseudo-multipitch routes as they proceed up large hillside. Some areas within canyon are on private land. Please respect private land by staying off. Ticks bad in spring.
